Always paint the ceiling first! Tip for painting a room

Yes start with the ceiling, in fact I always like to use flat paint and then cover the ceiling well, you can run the roller right against the wall and you wont need to trim out the outline except the corners might need a little dab with a brush and check for any drips that may have occurred and smooth them out.

Make sure you prep the ceiling first as mentioned in the Preparation post in this forum section.
